Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Graduates get guided practice: the residency program pairs attorney mentorship with client work for residents awaiting bar results.
  • Colorado paralegals get licensing support: the firm pays registration and testing fees for licensed legal paraprofessional status.
  • Legal teams shed administrative work: corporate departments handle the firm's billing, collections and client generation.

What critics are saying

  • Residents face a retention commitment: the residency program expects at least two years with the firm after licensure.
  • Colorado paraprofessionals have restricted scope: the firm explains their license excludes oral arguments and witness questioning.
  • Retainer relief excludes some clients: SimpleStart requires a 670 credit score and $65,000 annual employment income.

What makes Modern Family Law unique

  • Case coverage is shared: Modern Family Law generally assigns two attorneys and a paralegal to each case.
  • Deposits secure payment: Modern Family Law returns retainers after cases close, less unpaid balances.
  • Upfront payments shrink: SimpleStart has retainer reductions of 20%, 50% or 100% for qualifying clients.
