  • A DEC in dietetics techniques is required.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic diets and applied nutrition is required.
  • Proficiency in HACCP and MAPAQ standards and good manufacturing practices is required.
  • Communication, organizational, and supervisory abilities are required.
Responsibilities
  • Participate in planning and updating regular and therapeutic menus.
  • Ensure prescribed diets and nutritional standards are followed.
  • Supervise meal preparation and distribution.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards, including HACCP and MAPAQ.
  • Participate in managing inventory, food orders, and cost control.
  • Maintain documentation and use food management software.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in a care setting or institutional food service is an asset.
