- Evaluate loss potential due to catastrophe, severity, and/or frequency.
- Rate policies or check previously rated policies for proper rating.
- Use automated systems to develop information for new or renewal policies.
- Prepare quotations for agents and answer questions from agents, policyholders, or prospects.
- Assist agents with comments or questions about applications and the likelihood of acceptance by the company.
- Review requests for cancellation, endorsements, and related actions.
- Review policies for renewal consideration.
- Request additional documentation needed to process an application, endorsement, or cancellation.
- Conduct marketing visits to agents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
