Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in retail leasing is required.
  • A valid and active commercial real estate license in Florida is required.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are required.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and articulate complex real estate and financial concepts are required.
  • A highly motivated and results-driven approach, entrepreneurial mindset, and strong commitment to client service are required.
Responsibilities
  • Actively prospect for and secure new clients by building a strong business pipeline through networking, cold calling, and leveraging professional relationships.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the local commercial real estate market, including property values, market trends, and economic indicators, to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by providing strategic counsel on real estate decisions that support tenant and landlord business goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing and research teams to create proposals, presentations, and property marketing materials that effectively position opportunities.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, tenants, and other industry professionals.
  • Partner with project management, property management, capital markets, and other Avison Young service lines to provide integrated client solutions.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience leasing lifestyle and power centers is a plus.
