About the job

Requirements
  • 4–7 years of experience in consulting, professional services, or portfolio/program management.
  • Direct federal contracting experience, including hands-on familiarity with major contract vehicles used to deliver consulting or professional services to federal and Department of Defense clients: OASIS+, GWACs such as Alliant 2, 8(a) STARS III, and CIO-SP3, GSA Multiple Award Schedules, and agency-specific IDIQs/MACs.
  • Experience operating inside a consulting or advisory firm, with a working understanding of utilization, margin, staffing leverage, and forecasting.
  • Strong familiarity with the Washington, DC government contracting ecosystem.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders without formal authority.
  • Federal contracting and proposal-capture know-how is the top priority for this hire, more important than a technical or Agile/Scrum background.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor staffing, utilization, margin, and forecast accuracy across the practice, and provide portfolio-level metrics for leadership.
  • Partner with engagement leaders to keep delivery aligned with client outcomes, identify and address systemic delivery risks, and build appropriately scaled operational infrastructure.
  • Own operational rigor on federal engagements, including contract alignment, documentation, and compliance.
  • Help the firm pursue and win task orders through vehicles such as OASIS+, GSA schedules, GWACs, and agency IDIQs.
  • Maintain awareness of the federal pipeline and build relationships across the Washington, DC contracting ecosystem.
  • Support leadership with cross-team coordination between US and international teams, hiring, and workforce planning.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methods is a plus but is not required.
  • A technical or delivery-methodology background is a plus but is not required.
  • Candidates from roles such as contracting officer, proposal coordinator, or proposal analyst may be suitable next-step candidates.
