About the Job

Requirements

At least 6 months of rail experience.
At least 6 months of manual tractor-trailer work experience.
A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License is required.
Chassis and container experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years old.
No major accidents or tickets within the last 3 years.
No return-to-work program.
No driving under the influence conviction within the last 5 years.
A medical certificate, four-page long-form physical, Social Security card, Commercial Driver's License, and Transportation Worker Identification Credential card are required to apply.

Responsibilities

Drive port and rail freight routes using manual tractor-trailer equipment.
Perform container moves under a flat-rate, ZIP-code-to-ZIP-code pay structure.
Travel to Long Beach, Moreno Valley, Los Angeles, and other Southern California locations.
Handle drop-and-hook, no-touch freight operations.

Desired Qualifications

Hazardous materials endorsement or experience is a plus.

UISI is seeking local Class A Experienced Port Drivers
We are looking for CDL drivers with 6 months manual tractor trailer work experience.

👉Shifts Available: 👈
AM- shift
Monday - Fridays
6am-8am start time
Averaging 10+ hours daily
The ideal candidate must be able to go to Long beach, Moreno valley, LA, So-Cal Locations

Drivers are averaging 1500-2100 a week
Flat rate structure based on a zip code to zip code format. A driver is paid for each move they perform.

-No DUI in last 5 years
-hazmat is a plus
