Maintain essential site services such as boilers, refrigeration, compressed air, water, effluent, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, and associated plant equipment.
Ensure systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant standards.
Perform daily compliance checks and engineering routines.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
Repair equipment and monitor plant operations.
Contribute to continuous improvement projects.
Perform root cause analysis and problem solving.
Comply with standard operating procedures, risk assessments, and engineering standards.
Prepare performance reports and communicate across shifts.
Desired Qualifications
An HNC in Engineering is preferred.
About the Role
We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer (days) to join our team at Kinisla in Ossett.
The role of the Maintenance Engineer is to support the efficient operation, maintenance and reliability of the site's utilities and infrastructure systems, ensuring they consistently meet the needs of manufacturing operations. This includes maintaining essential site services such as boilers, refrigeration, compressed air, water, effluent, HVAC and associated plant equipment, while ensuring all systems operate safely, efficiently and in compliance with relevant standards.
What will I be doing?
Daily compliance checks and engineering routines.
Preventive and corrective maintenance.
Equipment repairs and plant monitoring.
Continuous improvement projects.
Root cause analysis and problem solving.
Compliance with SOPs, risk assessments, and engineering standards.
Performance reporting and shift communication.

These include:
Engineering qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).

Continuous improvement and RCA experience.
Strong teamwork and ownership mindset.
Ability to work flexible hours.
