About the job

Requirements
  • Have shaped a public application programming interface or software-as-a-service integration from the product side, defining endpoints, data models, authentication, and permissions with customers and engineering.
  • Be able to discuss webhooks versus polling, pagination, rate limits, and OAuth trade-offs, and test application programming interfaces independently.
  • Have worked directly with customers to identify their underlying needs and what will enable them to use an integration.
  • Write engineering tickets with clear scope, acceptance criteria, and exclusions, and prioritize by impact.
  • Ship work in weeks, build, learn, and iterate in parallel.
  • Explain complex topics simply to construction-company project managers and internal commercial teams or management.
  • Use large language model assistants and Model Context Protocols regularly and have built personal automations.
  • Actively develop skills and seek and act on feedback.
  • Be fluent in German and English.
  • Be based in Germany and be open to traveling to customers across the country.
Responsibilities
  • Talk to customers to understand requirements for the REST API and connectors, and work with Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales to turn insights into a roadmap.
  • Set up tracking to measure how much customer work flows through integrations.
  • Shape initial API improvements and the first Model Context Protocol server, write engineering tickets, and roll them out to pilot customers.
  • Use real usage data and pilot feedback to make recommendations and decide the path forward with the CTO and Head of Product.
  • Own integrations end to end, from customer conversations through shipped features; Engineering implements them.
  • Read API documentation, test endpoints, and discuss data models with engineers; the role does not write production code.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience building a Model Context Protocol server used by customers.
  • Knowledge of construction technology, enterprise resource planning, or estimating systems such as RIB iTWO, SAP, or Nevaris.

What believers are saying

  • Cosuno posted 2026 hiring across engineering, AI, sales, and partnerships roles.
  • The marketplace showed 1,597 tenders on September 21, 2026, signaling active demand.
  • Sacra estimated ARR reached $23.2 million in August 2026, up from $15.2 million.

What critics are saying

  • Rivals like Autodesk and Procore can bundle procurement features into broader workflows.
  • Dependence on tender volume makes revenue fragile if contractors bypass the marketplace.
  • If AI pricing loses accuracy, Cosuno's core workflow and network advantage erode fast.
