Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • 10-15+ years of progressive experience in technology consulting, business development, client leadership or digital solution delivery is required.
  • Consulting or professional services experience is required.
  • Demonstrated success originating and closing new technology consulting business with enterprise or mid-market clients is required.
  • A strong and active professional network, with the credibility and relationships to create meaningful new-client opportunities, is required.
  • Experience guiding opportunities through complex stakeholder environments, procurement processes and contracting is required.
  • Strong experience shaping proposals, statements of work, estimates, staffing plans and pricing is required.
  • Proven ability to transition new work from sale to execution and remain accountable for the ongoing client relationship and delivery outcomes is required.
  • Broad understanding of modern technology delivery, including digital products, software engineering, data and cloud, along with an active interest in and prior involvement with artificial intelligence-enabled solutions, is required.
  • Ability to build and mobilize teams by assessing internal talent and identifying external hiring needs is required.
  • Excellent executive presence, communication, storytelling, negotiation and relationship-building skills are required.

Responsibilities
  • Generate new business opportunities through an established professional network, targeted relationship-building and thoughtful market outreach.
  • Represent Experient in the market by articulating its technology capabilities, consulting approach and value to prospective clients and partners.
  • Engage senior business and technology leaders to uncover challenges, define needs and shape practical solutions across digital product development, software engineering, data, cloud, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
  • Lead the full business development lifecycle from initial outreach and discovery through proposal development, procurement, contracting and close.
  • Develop account-entry strategies, cultivate a healthy pipeline and maintain visibility into opportunity status, timing, risks and next steps.
  • Shape statements of work, delivery approaches, estimates, pricing, staffing models and commercial terms in partnership with technology and business leaders.
  • Mobilize new engagements by identifying internal resources, partnering with recruiting to hire additional talent, and establishing the team and delivery plan needed for a successful launch.
  • Remain actively involved after the sale as an account leader, partnering with delivery teams to maintain client confidence, address challenges and ensure strong outcomes.
  • Maintain a meaningful billable contribution across client engagements, combining account leadership with hands-on delivery and direct accountability for client value.
  • Grow client partnerships over time by identifying additional needs, introducing relevant Experient capabilities and expanding impact within the account.
