Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience.
  • At least 3 years of professional administrative experience in healthcare, nonprofit, and/or tribal organization settings.

Responsibilities
  • Participate as a collaborative member of the Healing Hand Foundation and SEARHC finance teams, ensuring effective communication regarding fundraising and financial activities.
  • Oversee the gift acceptance process for donations, including receiving and recording donations, managing donor acknowledgement and recognition, and incorporating transactions and donation revenue into financial reporting.
  • Maintain the donor database and fundraising platform, including data entry, data quality assurance and quality control, fundraising reports, automated workflows, and integration with financial systems.
  • Coordinate shared activities of the Foundation and SEARHC support-service departments, including Brand and Engagement, Information Systems, and Legal.
  • Coordinate Foundation public outreach activities, including fundraising events and community engagements.
  • Provide administrative support for the Foundation’s Patient Assistance and Scholarship programs.
  • Maintain and manage Foundation files and accounts, supplies and print-asset inventory, reporting deadlines, compliance requirements, contracts, invoices, and general communications.
  • Support document preparation for Foundation board meetings, reporting, and donation solicitation.
  • Develop values-based relationships with donors, board members, vendors and consultants, bank representatives and investment advisors, community partners, and tribal organizations.
  • Participate in continuous-improvement activities.
  • Communicate and perform responsibilities in a manner that supports and integrates the Foundation and SEARHC missions, visions, goals, and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working in fundraising, event planning, or community engagement roles.
  • Experience working with customer relationship management systems.
  • Knowledge of the Alaska Tribal Health System and Alaska Native cultures and politics.

Juneau Youth Services provides emergency, residential, and community-based behavioral health care for children, teens, and their families in Alaska. Services are tailored and strengths-based, delivered in home-like, least-restrictive settings where trained caregivers and clinical professionals form therapeutic relationships to support youth development and family functioning. The programs operate under the Teaching Family Model and focus on keeping or reunifying children with their families when appropriate.
