This is a dynamic role supporting a business that is rapidly growing, highly acquisitive, and preparing for a potential IPO. On any given day, you may support one or more of the following: advising executives on complex technical accounting issue in preparation for an executive or board meeting, call with third party valuation specialist for a recently closed acquisition to discuss issues you have identified while reviewing their draft valuation report for a recent acquisition, meeting with stock administrator to understand the impact of migrating stock administration systems on monthly stock based compensation accounting and annual disclosures, reviewing quarterly investor reporting and debt covenant compliance packages, etc.

What will you do?
- Own the consolidations and financial reporting responsibilities, including US GAAP, Non-GAAP, ad-hoc, reporting requirements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Advise executives and FP&A regarding potential business transactions, what-if scenarios, and executive/board content.
- Research and interpret complex accounting matters, providing guidance and draft memorandums, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards. Areas include debt and equity transactions, leases, capitalized software, business combinations, financial instruments, equity investments, among others.
- Support mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, valuation, opening balance sheet procedures, drafting relevant memos, and leading Anduril’s auditors through the aforementioned work.
- Support quarterly debt covenant compliance by reviewing calculations and draft reporting package and delivering reviewed reporting package timely to treasury for distribution.
- Support quarterly investor reporting by reviewing GAAP and non-GAAP financials, coordinating layers of leadership review required, and ultimately delivering reporting package timely to investor relations for distribution.
- Manage the 409a valuation process, including internal coordination and alignment with stock administrator and executives, kickoff calls with third party valuation specialists, compiling and delivering all requested PBCs, managing timeliness of preparation, review of draft report, and leading Anduril’s auditors through the draft report.
- Manage the annual impairment process for both long lived and indefinite lived assets.
- Participate in Anduril’s month end close process, managing stock based compensation, debt accounting, intercompany and eliminations, among others.
- Assist in technical revenue matters, contract and/or journal entry review as needed.
- Coordinate and manage the technical accounting and reporting workstreams of the annual external audit.
- Support the IPO readiness process, establishing reporting policies aligned to public company standards for a potential public offering in the future.
- Closely partner with other departments, including Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Operations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information.
- Assist in the establishment, documentation, and maintenance of key accounting and business policies, collaborating with cross functional stakeholders.
- Assist with developing and maintaining internal controls over financial reporting.
- Promote continuous improvement in financial reporting, implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the reporting function.
- No job too small mentality, be able to perform various other ad-hoc tasks as required or assigned within reasonable scope of this role.
What qualifications are required?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Active CPA required
- 7+ years’ experience in accounting under US GAAP, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory role. Public accounting/audit experience required.
- Demonstrated experienceafting /or reviewing SEC filings, including S-1, 10-K, 10-Q, etc.
- Demonstrated experience applying ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 805, among others.
US Salary Range
$142,000—$213,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril’s total compensation package.
