Responsibilities
  • Deliver an engaging and outstanding customer service experience by combining sales, product knowledge, and skills training to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Generate revenue through superior product knowledge, point-of-sale operations, loss prevention, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Provide an energetic and positive environment for teammates and customers while meeting and exceeding customer expectations and boosting sales.
  • Create an emotional connection with every customer as a Legends and MLB brand ambassador.
  • Complete sales transactions efficiently and accurately while adhering to cash protection procedures.
  • Use selling expertise at the point of sale to create add-on sales and build customer loyalty.
  • Know store and individual targets and actively work to meet or exceed them using available resources.
  • Seek and incorporate core and seasonal product knowledge into a service approach within assigned store zones.
  • Collaborate productively and respectfully with team members to meet or exceed store goals.
  • Maintain an appealing, easy-to-shop environment by executing visual merchandising and housekeeping standards.
  • Handle returns and exchanges while reinforcing and enhancing the customer experience.
  • Assist with deliveries and replenish the sales floor.
  • Prioritize merchandise flow to the sales floor to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Maintain adequate supplies and an effective stockroom environment, including merchandise in and around the vicinity.
  • Report low stock levels, inventory discrepancies, and customer product requests to management as needed.
  • Maintain sales-floor awareness while serving customers to minimize loss.
  • Comply with store policies and procedures to maintain a safe shopping and working environment.
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervision.
Desired Qualifications
  • A college degree is preferred.
  • Prior proven experience in a sports- or fashion-focused retail environment.
