Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize and propose therapeutic targets for the treatment of bone disease and cardiometabolic disease.
  • Design and perform in vitro and/or in vivo experiments.
  • Independently perform data analysis and interpret results.
  • Communicate scientific results through written and oral presentations.
  • Collaborate with teams from other company functions to advance therapeutic candidates.
  • Document studies in electronic laboratory notebooks and study reports.
  • Advise colleagues in areas of expertise.
  • Initially conduct bench and/or vivarium in vivo and/or in vitro preclinical studies focused on osteoporosis and metabolic disease.
  • Over time, manage a team of scientists conducting drug discovery research.
  • Support new and existing drug discovery programs in the Cardiometabolic Disorders portfolio.
