  • Strong academic performance and an interest in the construction industry.
  • Ability to communicate and engage with a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to work in a team and adapt to a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project teams to assist in the planning, execution, and management of construction projects.
  • Assist with project documentation, including reports, plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving construction-related challenges.
  • Spend time on construction sites to observe and participate in construction activities.
  • Work with project managers, engineers, and field staff to help ensure project goals are met.
  • Observe crew and subcontractor coordination to understand how work remains on schedule and within budget.
  • Gain exposure to heavy equipment operations, including bulldozers, excavators, and loaders, under experienced supervision.
  • Learn equipment maintenance and basic on-site safety and upkeep procedures.
  • Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Communicate regularly with crew members, subcontractors, and project staff about schedules and deadlines.
  • Develop understanding of construction methods, materials, equipment, and safety procedures.
