Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a Social Services field or experience in behavioral health.
  • Previous experience with behavioral health assessments or work on an inpatient unit is beneficial.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to make patients and families feel heard and valued.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, phone lines, and priorities while remaining composed.
Responsibilities
  • Answer a high volume of calls from patients, families, and referral sources.
  • Schedule and conduct intake appointments.
  • Make follow-up calls.
  • Assess needs and connect people with appropriate services.
  • Maintain bed boards and assessment boards.
  • Partner with clinical staff, nursing, and business development to coordinate the admission and referral process.
  • Maintain accurate records and clear communication.
  • Work independently and collaboratively under the guidance of the Assessment and Referral Director.
