The acquisition adds another Israeli company to ServiceNow’s rapidly expanding AI portfolio and comes less than two months after its purchase of ai.work. Sweep has raised $46 million in disclosed funding and builds AI agents that can work across enterprise platforms including ServiceNow, Salesforce and HubSpot.
ServiceNow has signed a collaboration agreement with Aramco Digital to advance AI-powered enterprise transformation across the Aramco ecosystem. Aramco Digital will use the ServiceNow AI Platform to standardise and govern digital workflows across its affiliates, subsidiaries, and joint ventures spanning more than 50 countries. The collaboration could strengthen ServiceNow's competitive position against Salesforce and Microsoft as enterprises increasingly seek unified platforms for AI governance and workflow automation. ServiceNow's AI annual contract value crossed $1 billion in the second quarter of 2026, whilst net new AI annual contract value increased more than 40% sequentially. Deals containing five or more ServiceNow AI products grew 5.5 times year over year. The company's subscription revenues rose 24.5% year over year to $3.88 billion.
Jim Cramer advised investors to sell half their ServiceNow holdings and let the remainder run during the 25 August Mad Money Lightning Round. The enterprise software company hit $239.62 in January 2025 before dropping to roughly $81 in mid-April 2026. It has since recovered to $125.80. Cramer's recommendation follows ServiceNow's strong Q2 2026 results reported on 22 July. Subscription revenues grew 24.5% year-over-year to $3.877 billion, whilst the company's AI platform crossed $1 billion in annual contract value. Agentic deployments increased ninefold in nine months. Following the earnings, Bank of America raised its price target to $150 from $130, maintaining a Buy rating and citing ServiceNow's positioning in enterprise agentic AI.
Salesforce and ServiceNow both surpassed $1 billion in AI revenue but are taking different paths. Salesforce reported $11.13 billion in revenue, up 13%, with $6.7 billion in operating cash flow and a $25 billion share buyback. Its Agentforce and Data 360 products generated $3.4 billion in AI and data annual recurring revenue. ServiceNow grew faster, with subscription revenue of $3.877 billion, up 24.5%. The company secured 123 deals worth over $1 million and saw agentic deployments increase ninefold in nine months. However, operating income fell 54.75% due to acquisition costs. The companies' strategies differ: Salesforce focuses on agentic CRM, whilst ServiceNow positions itself as an AI control platform. This is reflected in their valuations, with Salesforce trading at 23 times trailing P/E versus ServiceNow's 75 times.
Software-as-a-Service companies are experiencing a resurgence after last year's selloff driven by artificial intelligence concerns. Several SaaS firms have demonstrated strong growth by incorporating AI into their operations. Palantir Technologies reported 93% year-over-year revenue growth in its most recent quarter, whilst Shopify posted 34% growth and ServiceNow achieved 24% growth. Despite their strong performance, Palantir and Shopify shares have declined this year and trade at premium valuations. ServiceNow, which provides workflow automation services to over 8,800 enterprise clients, appears relatively undervalued compared to its peers. The company's platform integrates legacy operations and AI agents into a unified interface. CEO Bill McDermott highlighted that AI software spending is expected to grow 53% this year, outpacing AI hardware spending growth by 17%.
