Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Hold current licensure as a Registered Nurse from the South Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Hold current Basic Life Support certification or obtain it before completing orientation.
  • Some positions may require a valid driver's license.
  • Be able to perform the listed physical job functions, including lifting and carrying 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Be able to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
  • Be able to work in a latex-safe environment.
  • Be physically qualified for respirator use initially and as required.
Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary team members to deliver patient outcomes.
  • Provide patient- and family-centered care addressing physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, and educational needs.
  • Coordinate care and promote patient education to support positive health outcomes.
  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and healing environment for patients, families, and coworkers.
  • Prioritize patient needs while applying clinical judgment and critical thinking.
  • Participate in professional development, shared governance, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrate accountability and professionalism in nursing practice.
