Requirements
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in Supply Chain Management within industrial manufacturing, metal fabrication, or a related heavy-industry setting.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise resource planning or materials requirement planning systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or JobBOSS, along with advanced data analytics and demand planning tools.
  • Strong negotiation tactics, strategic thinking, vendor management, and team leadership skills.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute end-to-end supply chain strategies aligned with corporate goals to improve operational efficiency and minimize overall costs.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate high-value contracts, and streamline procurement processes for direct and indirect materials in a metal fabrication environment.
  • Establish inventory policies to optimize stock levels, prevent shortages, reduce carrying costs, and forecast demand using market data.
  • Coordinate warehousing, transportation, and freight operations to shorten lead times and improve order fulfillment accuracy.
  • Identify cost-reduction opportunities, evaluate supply chain risks, and implement contingency plans to prevent disruptions.
  • Partner with quality control teams to ensure incoming materials and outgoing shipments meet technical standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and empower the supply chain team while fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Maintain commitment to Environmental, Health, and Safety standards and support a safe, compliant, and sustainable production environment.
Desired Qualifications
  • APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
