Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive marketing experience, including senior leadership roles.
  • Deep understanding of brand strategy, integrated marketing, and performance measurement.
  • Experience leading enterprise-level marketing strategy across North America, including the United States and Canada.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect marketing outcomes to revenue, growth, and reputation.
  • Executive-level communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated success leading small teams.
  • Project management expertise.
  • Experience implementing and/or managing a lead generation workflow and technology stack.
  • Expertise leveraging digital tools and artificial intelligence to support marketing campaigns and graphics or presentation development.
Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the enterprise-wide marketing strategy in alignment with corporate growth objectives, brand positioning, and revenue priorities.
  • Build brand awareness and pipeline growth across new vertical and geographic markets.
  • Develop strategy and implement supporting actions across brand, digital, content, social media, demand generation, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Communicate the organization's vision, strategic objectives, and goals at all levels.
  • Lead marketing subject matter experts by providing training, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Establish and communicate performance standards.
  • Identify required talent and partner with the talent team to source, select, onboard, and train team members.
  • Review and document individual performance and track team accomplishments.
  • Deliver updates on key business initiatives, keep leaders aligned and focused, and provide regular individual performance feedback.
  • Recommend compensation adjustments based on performance, internal equity, and geographic market considerations.
  • Plan for talent succession and support professional and career development.
  • Define and own the enterprise marketing strategy and execute actions to optimize brand awareness in key vertical and geographic markets.
  • Advise senior leadership on brand, market trends, client insights, and competitive dynamics.
  • Establish marketing objectives, success metrics, and multi-year roadmaps supporting business outcomes.
  • Set the strategic direction for integrated marketing programs, including digital, content, campaigns, and communications.
  • Oversee demand-generation and pipeline-support strategies with business development and sales leadership.
  • Partner with business development to create and execute data-driven lead-generation strategies that deliver marketing-qualified leads into the sales funnel.
  • Ensure marketing initiatives are insight-driven and scalable across regions and business lines.
  • Balance short-term performance goals with long-term brand and market development.
  • Establish key performance indicators, dashboards, and governance frameworks to measure marketing effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Translate performance data into executive-level insights and recommendations.
  • Optimize marketing investment based on business impact.
  • Partner with executive leadership, operations, human resources, and business development to ensure marketing alignment with enterprise priorities.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, consultants, and strategic partners.
  • Own the marketing budget, resource allocation, and investment prioritization.
  • Establish governance frameworks for campaigns, brand usage, and external communications.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate, legal, and reputational standards.
  • Identify and mitigate brand and communication risks.
  • Contribute to other key initiatives as assigned.

Veritas Capital to acquire facilities manager BGIS. July 17, 2026 | John McNulty Veritas Capital has agreed to acquire BGIS from CCMP Capital Advisors and Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo). BGIS runs and maintains buildings and facilities - offices, data centers, and government, healthcare, and industrial sites - for large public and private organizations, handling the engineering, operations, and technology that keep those properties running, a service known in the industry as technical integrated facilities management (IFM). The company oversees more than 65,000 facilities totaling over 620 million square feet globally with a team of more than 12,000. Gord Hicks continues as chief executive officer and will lead the business with his management team. CCMP and AIMCo had backed BGIS since 2019. Veritas Capital, a technology investor focused on companies operating at the intersection of technology and government, manages over $54 billion in assets. James Dimitri, partner and co-head of flagship private equity at Veritas, led the transaction for the firm.
