Responsibilities
- Act as the purchasing representative within cross-functional project teams.
- Implement purchasing strategies that support project objectives and business goals.
- Lead supplier sourcing activities, request-for-quotation processes, negotiations, and supplier nominations.
- Manage project-related purchasing plans and ensure timely execution of key milestones.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the availability of prototypes and samples.
- Support supplier selection and drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining high quality standards.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Quality teams to ensure technical and commercial requirements are fulfilled.
- Monitor supplier performance, production readiness, and project risks throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Contribute to innovation scouting, market research, and benchmarking activities.
- Drive change management and contract negotiations related to ongoing projects.
- Track project key performance indicators and ensure purchasing targets regarding quality, cost, and supply availability are achieved.
- Build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support long-term project success.
