Requirements
  • A Secret clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a Cybersecurity-related field, or an Associate degree in Information Technology or a Cybersecurity-related field with five years of experience.
  • A current certification meeting the requirements for the Department of Defense Cyber Workforce Framework Information Systems Security Officer at the Intermediate or Advanced proficiency level, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional or Certified Information Security Manager.
  • Completion of a minimum of 20 hours of Continuous Professional Development annually, or as required to maintain certifications, whichever is greater.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in cybersecurity principles and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in risk management processes and frameworks.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in network security architecture and protocols.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing techniques.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in security system design and implementation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in security incident response and handling.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including the National Institute of Standards and Technology, Federal Information Security Modernization Act, and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.
  • Two years of experience managing Department of Defense Risk Management Framework packages within the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Application system.
  • Experience conducting vulnerability scans and analyzing results.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Risk Management Framework artifacts.
  • Knowledge of operating system security for Windows and Linux.
  • Knowledge of network security, architecture, protocols, and technologies.
  • Experience conducting vulnerability scans with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution/Nessus and analyzing scan results.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Risk Management Framework artifacts, such as the System Security Plan and Plan of Action and Milestones.
Responsibilities
  • Support management of Department of Defense Risk Management Framework packages within the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Application system.
  • Conduct vulnerability scans using Assured Compliance Assessment Solution/Nessus and analyze scan results.
  • Develop and maintain Risk Management Framework artifacts, including System Security Plans and Plans of Action and Milestones.
  • Support cybersecurity and information assurance activities.
  • Support security incident response and handling activities.
  • Support security system design and implementation requirements.
