Cell Biology Laboratory Technician
About the job
- A Bac +2 / Bac +3 qualification in cellular biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, or an equivalent field, such as a BTS, DUT, or professional bachelor's degree.
- Proficiency in cell culture techniques.
- Knowledge of common biological analysis techniques; ELISA and cell viability testing are desired, and RT-qPCR and immunostaining are preferred.
- Rigor in experimental execution and documentary traceability.
- Ability to read scientific English, including protocols and technical literature.
- Strong writing skills.
- Organization and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work in a team and in pairs.
- Autonomy, versatility, initiative, and critical analysis.
- Plan, prepare, and implement experimental protocols to evaluate cosmetic and nutraceutical products.
- Perform cell biology tests, including primary and cell-line culture, maintain the cell bank, and handle biological samples.
- Conduct analyses, including viability tests, quantitative RT-PCR, ELISA, and microscopy.
- Enter, format, and critically process experimental data using Excel and specialized software.
- Write clear and rigorous study reports for internal or external clients using Word and PowerPoint.
- Manage orders for external studies, including in vitro, safety, and clinical studies.
- Prepare samples and finished products, including aliquoting, and send samples for external testing or to clients.
- Contribute to laboratory operations, including organization, stock management, and equipment maintenance.
- Knowledge of ELISA and cell viability techniques.
- Knowledge of RT-qPCR and immunostaining techniques.
