Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Five to seven years of experience in invoicing or accounting, preferably in the automotive industry, is required.
  • The candidate must have organizational skills in accounts receivable, delivery, and customer relations.
  • The candidate must be able to solve problems.
  • The candidate must have strong proficiency in personal computer software applications, especially Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and specialized formulas, as well as word processing for clearly explaining material.
  • The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Review packing lists daily to process and create invoices for various customers.
  • Interface with major automotive customers regarding invoicing and payment discrepancies.
  • Research aging reports and resolve past-due invoices.
  • Work with sales, delivery, and other internal departments to resolve discrepancies and issues concerning payment activities, including price discrepancies, quality assurance rejects, and delivery discrepancies.
  • Work with the Information Systems department to improve efficiencies and update systems to meet customer and internal requirements.
  • Provide administrative support through audits, support for sales associates, and special requests.
  • Act as the primary sales contact to the customer for specific commodities or vehicles.
  • Generate pricing for wire harnesses based on company standards and new automotive model requirements.
  • Manage pricing and analyze cost gaps from previous levels based on electrical drawings.
  • Support internal cost-reduction activities, accounts receivable collections, and other activities as required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in invoicing or accounting in the automotive industry is preferred.
