Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least five years of experience in the commercial construction industry overseeing all aspects of ground-up healthcare projects.
  • Ability to manage more than two projects at once in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lead and supervise teams and coordinate multiple teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with project reporting software, Microsoft Office, and blueprint reading.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites, with travel up to 30%.
  • Ability to schedule and supervise the multitasking work of a multi-member team.
  • Proven knowledge of commercial building and construction and related sectors.
  • Computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Proficiency with technology.
  • Basic understanding of the construction process, including materials, equipment, and techniques.
  • Three to five years minimum of project management experience.
  • Ability to communicate with project owners, tradespeople, team members, project management, and customers.
  • Ability to sit, talk, or hear as needed, use repetitive hand motions, handle or feel, stand, walk, reach, bend, lift up to 20 pounds, and climb stairs.
Responsibilities
  • Manage project budgets, write contracts, approve invoices, and update project schedules.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and help resolve issues or conflicts during construction.
  • Organize, process, and distribute pertinent project documents.
  • Create project schedules and develop short-interval schedules for weekly coordination meetings.
  • Expedite documents and material and equipment deliveries to meet the project schedule.
  • Maintain cost control data and prepare cost reports.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with customers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and employees.
  • Conduct implementation and tracking of LEED requirements.
  • Administer document control for shop drawings, submittals, subcontracts and purchase orders, insurance certificates and bonds, requests for information, plans and specifications, warranties and as-builts and manuals, notices to owner and lien releases, construction bulletins, owner change-order requests, and back charges.
  • Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance with contract documents.
  • Complete subcontractor payment and vendor invoice processing.
  • Attend project-related meetings and assist with preparing and distributing meeting minutes and attendee rosters.
  • Write weekly reports using notes from the superintendent.
  • Manage project close-out procedures and activities.
  • Ensure safety rules and regulations are followed at the project site.
