Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain performance analytics and periodic reporting on divisional revenue, expenses, and shareholder returns.
  • Design executive-grade dashboards as a single source of truth for decision-making.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and partner with cross-functional teams to automate and streamline processes using artificial intelligence tooling and solutions.
  • Develop and track new initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional partners to support multi-year and intra-year revenue and expense budgeting and forecasting.
  • Deliver benchmarking and market-share analysis of peer performance across fixed income, currencies, and commodities, equities, and banking to inform strategic positioning.
  • Partner on efficiency projects and deliver transparent, accurate reporting for the division's cost base.
  • Track, analyze, and manage progress toward firmwide goals, focusing on fixed income, currencies, and commodities and equities, in partnership with cross-divisional stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience in finance, strategy, consulting, or analytics.
  • SQL querying experience with large, complex datasets.
  • Working proficiency in Python, including pandas, data wrangling, and automation.
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio Code and Git.

Goldman Sachs buys $14M stake in FirstCry parent Brainbees Solutions

Goldman Sachs has acquired a significant stake in Brainbees Solutions, the parent company of FirstCry, purchasing 6.8 million shares at ₹175 each through a bulk deal on the National Stock Exchange. The transaction, executed on 24 September 2026, is valued at approximately ₹119 crore. Goldman Sachs was previously an anchor investor in Brainbees Solutions' initial public offering, which allocated shares worth ₹1,885.80 crore to institutional investors. Meanwhile, private equity firm TPG exited its entire 2.21% stake in FirstCry through a ₹202 crore bulk deal, selling 12 million shares at ₹175.15 per share. TPG had first invested in FirstCry in 2021 and gradually reduced its holdings following the company's stock market debut in 2024. Technical analysts note that FirstCry shares remain in a downtrend, with immediate support at the ₹160–165 range.

Taktile, a Berlin-based decision platform for financial services, has raised $190 million in total funding, including a recent $120 million Series C led by Goldman Sachs. The company serves customers across 27 countries. Moneyview raises $38.3M from anchor investors ahead of $127.7M IPO

Digital lending platform Moneyview raised Rs 327.5 crore from anchor investors ahead of its Rs 1,092-crore initial public offering. The company allotted 9.63 crore equity shares to 20 funds at Rs 34 apiece, the upper end of the IPO price band. The anchor investors included SBI Mutual Fund, HDFC Mutual Fund, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, Goldman Sachs, Mirae Asset, Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund, Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund, India Acorn Fund, Quant Mutual Fund, Amundi Funds and HDFC Life.
