Clinical Research Nurse

Job Details

The Clinical Research Nurse (Part-Time) performs basic nursing skills, study coordination and data management, with a central focus on visiting research participants in their homes to perform bloodwork collection, transporting specimens within a designated radius, and administering transfusions of blood products in support of research protocols.

Job Description

• Collects and documents clinical information (data) from study participants.

• Provides patient education regarding research study.

• Obtains informed consent and supports enrollment into clinical trials.

• Interacts with consortium members, organizes meetings and communicates with participating institutions, tracks and records progress, schedules meetings, records and distributes minutes.

NOTE: Candidate must have an active driver’s license and personal transportation to travel to and from patient homes.

Education:

Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing. BSN Preferred.

AND

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of RN Clinical Experience in health care setting. Research experience preferred.

Minimum Certifications, Registration or License Requirements:

PA RN License
