Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience with Appian solutions.
  • At least 5 years of related information technology experience.
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or a related area.
  • An active Lead Certification.
  • Expert experience delivering Appian solutions using an Agile methodology.
  • Strong technical design, implementation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, active listening skills, analytical ability, and strategic foresight.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with relational database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL/MariaDB.
  • Experience with web services, integrations, and middleware such as RESTful/SOAP, Mule, IIB, or Fusion.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance.
  • Willingness to travel 0–15% for client meetings as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Lead implementation teams through complex technical solutions using Appian and tangential technologies.
  • Guide clients on Agile, quality assurance, and governance for multi-application platform implementations.
  • Support design, development, and testing activities across multiple client projects.
  • Support large-scale implementation teams consisting of multiple development pods.
  • Guide clients on architecture design, platform scalability, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives as needed to drive technical success.
  • Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance.
  • Create and document implementation best practices and knowledge base articles for internal enablement.
  • Provide thought leadership on process improvement.
  • Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools.
  • Mentor, train, and enable resources.
Desired Qualifications
  • User interface and user experience design.
  • Cloud computing and infrastructure as a service, including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Authentication technologies such as Security Assertion Markup Language, Kerberos, OAuth, or Lightweight Directory Access Protocol.
  • Data management and data visualization/business intelligence.
  • DevSecOps and/or configuration management.
  • Machine learning and artificial intelligence.
