Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in PMO or project management roles, ideally within the FMCG or food retail sectors.
  • Strong experience working with geographically distributed teams across multiple regions, managing complex, global projects.
  • Solid understanding of key FMCG processes, including supply chain management, imports/exports, and factory operations.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and effectively communicate at all levels of the organisation.
  • Familiarity with both traditional and Agile project management methodologies.
  • Experience managing project budgets, financial tracking, and risk assessments.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day governance of a global project portfolio, ensuring alignment with Upfield’s strategic priorities and business goals.
  • Collaborate closely with internal functions like supply chain, procurement, logistics, and factory operations to support the successful execution of projects.
  • Onboard quickly and gain a deep understanding of internal operations, with a focus on key FMCG processes such as supply chain management, imports/exports, and factory operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong reporting mechanisms to track project performance, risks, and financials, providing key insights to senior leadership.
  • Proactively identify risks and issues across global projects, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure minimal disruption to timelines and objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing project management methodologies to ensure efficiency and compliance across all global projects.
  • Engage and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across different regions and functions, ensuring project alignment and resolving any challenges.
