Requirements
  • 7+ years in People Operations/Human Resources. Prior experience at a start-up in high-growth mode is a must
  • Benefits, compensation, and compliance expertise in People systems (Tools we use: ADP WFN, HiBob, Greenhouse, Sequoia Benefits, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership
  • Proven track record of prioritization, being data-driven, and achieving results at a tactical and strategic level
  • Project management skills to see initiatives from vision to implementation
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently when needed and exercise good judgment to determine if others need to be brought into the conversation
  • Tech-savvy and able to quickly pick up new processes and software
Responsibilities
  • Have full ownership of the day-to-day People function and tools, including benefits administration, HRIS management, HR data integrity, and other core People administration items
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws (federal, state, and local) and regulations across the U.S.; identify gaps and inefficiencies, provide recommendations for improvement, and implement required changes
  • Partner with managers to address employee relations issues
  • Manage and iterate on Mudflap’s total rewards program, including compensation and benefits, to attract, retain, and motivate top talent
  • Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Talent Acquisition, Finance, etc.) and external vendors to streamline and automate processes where possible
  • Build and execute people programs across the employee journey that align with our mission and values in partnership with leadership
  • Support employees in resolving questions/challenges and provide an excellent experience to the Mudflap team
