- Answer the phone professionally and courteously and provide customer service.
- Schedule all appointments and ensure appropriate clinical information is collected for efficient workflow.
- Coordinate patient care and support clinical staff in response to incoming patient calls across four clinic locations.
- Communicate with provider teams to ensure timely access to care for patients.
- Provide accurate patient information for all departments and maintain communication with staff to support quality patient care.
- Schedule new and return patient appointments and procedures.
- Assist with processing incoming patient referrals and faxes.
- Communicate with patients and providers by telephone and through the electronic medical records messaging system for approximately 75% of daily communication.
- Use waitlist and callback lists to fill provider schedules.
- Answer approximately 70 patient phone calls per day.
