Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in inventory control, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven experience managing inventory across multiple locations.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles, methods, and best practices.
  • Experience with inventory management software, enterprise resource planning systems, and productivity and project management suites such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and ClickUp.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to travel to different locations at least 10% of the time.
  • Availability to work 50 or more hours per week, every weekend and on holidays, on either a Tuesday-through-Saturday or Sunday-through-Thursday schedule.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures, policies, and compliance measures across multiple locations.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, receipts, and consumption at each location.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to verify physical inventory against system records and reduce inventory shrink.
  • Identify and establish appropriate inventory storage solutions for different types of inventory.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Evaluate and improve inventory management processes and workflows, and identify and implement inventory control system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to introduce new inventory items smoothly and address inventory-related issues.
  • Generate regular reports on inventory levels, discrepancies, and key performance indicators.
  • Hire, lead, train, and supervise a small team of inventory control specialists.
  • Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback.
