About the job

Requirements
  • At least 7 years of experience in category management, strategy and operations, general management, or a related role with real business accountability.
  • A track record of owning high-stakes initiatives or a profit-and-loss account and driving measurable revenue, margin, or retention outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success launching and scaling new products or programs, both from zero to one and at scale.
  • Experience managing a portfolio and roadmap, prioritizing competing investments, sequencing them against a clear thesis, and making decisions with a rationale.
  • Analytical and financial fluency, including building and defending models and making decisions with incomplete data.
  • Cross-functional leadership aligning clinical, product, growth, and operations teams behind one plan.
  • A bachelor's degree.
  • Bias toward action, using a minimum viable product approach to learn and iterate rather than over-engineering.
  • Ambition and range to grow into a general manager role owning a category.
Responsibilities
  • Own the initiatives with the greatest profit-and-loss impact across acquisition, retention, conversion, and new-treatment launches, from strategy through execution and results.
  • Own unit economics, including customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, average revenue per user, submit-to-subscriber conversion, and contribution margin.
  • Manage initiatives as a portfolio by framing opportunities, evaluating trade-offs, sequencing the roadmap, and recommending what to build and when.
  • Partner with growth and lifecycle teams to improve acquisition, submit-to-subscriber conversion, and retention across the funnel.
  • Shape the technology product roadmap with product and engineering teams, prioritize funnel, personalization, and experience investments, and hold the roadmap accountable to category outcomes.
  • Drive cross-sell and long-term engagement to turn single-treatment buyers into multi-specialty members.
  • Develop pricing, bundling, and merchandising strategies that protect margin and lifetime value.
  • Own the treatment development roadmap for assigned categories by identifying, prioritizing, and sequencing treatments, stock-keeping units, form factors, and programs from business case through forecast and launch.
  • Work with clinical, pharmacy, and regulatory teams to bring therapies to market safely and quickly.
  • Build repeatable launch playbooks.
  • Deliver a premium, empathetic, destigmatizing end-to-end customer experience while maintaining clinical rigor.
  • Evaluate the customer journey from first touch through fulfillment and ongoing care.
  • Combine qualitative insight with data to close customer-experience gaps.
  • Align clinical, regulatory, product, growth, analytics, pharmacy, and operations partners around initiatives.
  • Reconcile product and treatment roadmaps in one prioritized plan, set priorities and success criteria, and keep partners moving despite disagreement.
  • Direct the growth operations and analytics resources supporting initiatives and act as a thought partner to supporting senior managers.
  • Own initiative scorecards for revenue, contribution margin, retention and churn, submit-to-subscriber conversion, average revenue per user, and treatment adoption.
  • Set key performance indicators and success criteria for initiatives and report performance in business reviews.
Desired Qualifications
  • MBA, management consulting, or a background at a top-tier technology company, such as a marketplace, on-demand, or consumer platform.
  • Direct-to-consumer, telehealth, or consumer health experience; men's health experience is a plus.
  • Experience with regulated healthcare products, pharmacy operations, or compounding.
  • People management experience.
  • Fluency with Looker or Amplitude.
