Requirements
  • Active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information eligibility and eligibility to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph.
  • A Department of Defense 8570 IAT Level II qualification through Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work or military experience.
  • Five to eight years of developer experience.
  • Experience deploying and managing Red Hat OpenShift in a cloud or VMware vSphere environment.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services.
  • Proficiency with Python, shell scripting, Git, Linux distributions including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat CoreOS, and CentOS, GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and the Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem.
Responsibilities
  • Work on a development team using Agile Scrum methodology to develop and maintain an agency-wide Platform as a Service capability across multiple security domains.
  • Operate and maintain existing Red Hat OpenShift environments across multiple security domains in cloud and data center VMware vSphere environments.
  • Support OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, and Red Hat GitOps.
  • Deploy OpenShift to new sites as they come online.
  • Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them.
  • Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions.
  • Support data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Elastic Stack.
  • Compile detailed documentation.
Desired Qualifications
  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift certification.
  • Intelligence Community experience.
