- Master's degree (Bac+5) in a relevant field.
- Professional experience in the data engineering field.
- Experience in setting up multiple architectures from scratch and supporting them through to production.
- Ability to deliver high-quality code within agile client environments.
- Supervise a team of data engineers to develop new data pipelines including ingestion, processing, and exposure.
- Validate the technical design choices made by the engineering team.
- Ensure the production deployment and maintainability of data flows.
- Collaborate with data scientists to provide support for the industrialization of their work, including testing, continuous integration, model scalability, and software craftsmanship.
- Deploy cloud infrastructures using full Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for data processing.
- Participate in internal and external data community events such as webinars, workshops, and meetups.
- Contribute to the company's knowledge base through blog articles, experience feedback reports, and internal Brown Bag Lunch sessions.
- Proficiency with distributed computing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Apache Storm, or Apache Flink.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, C, C++, or Scala.
- Knowledge of various SQL and NoSQL database systems and the SQL language.
- Experience with data streaming frameworks such as Apache Kafka or Amazon Kinesis.
- Experience with Cloud technologies including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
