  • Familiarity with enterprise performance management and financial systems, including OneStream, SAP S/4HANA, Enterprise Data Warehouse concepts, and Global Data Management.

  • Own the build and maintenance of commercial performance metrics, including pricing realization, inflation pass-through, and tariff impact on cost and margin.
  • Develop and refine net price waterfall analysis to isolate the impact of price, volume, mix, and cost inflation on margin.
  • Monitor tariff exposure across the supply chain and quantify financial impact scenarios, partnering with sourcing and operations to model mitigation strategies.

  • Support documentation and audit-readiness of wind-down financials, ensuring accurate and defensible reporting throughout the process.
  • Serve as a finance business partner on the multi-year systems transformation roadmap spanning Enterprise Data Warehouse, OneStream, SAP S/4HANA, Global Data Management, and enterprise performance management platforms.
  • Translate finance and reporting requirements into system design input, working closely with information technology and implementation partners.
  • Support data mapping, validation, and reconciliation activities during each implementation phase to ensure data integrity across legacy and new systems.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and design new reporting structures, hierarchies, and charts of accounts within OneStream and enterprise performance management tools.
  • Drive change management and adoption across the finance organization, including training, documentation, and post-go-live troubleshooting support.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify or eliminate legacy manual processes as new systems and platforms come online.
  • Blend traditional financial analysis with data science and applied artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to generate deeper commercial and operational insights.
  • Design and build automated, repeatable deliverables, including dashboards, models, and recurring reports, that reduce manual effort and increase the speed and accuracy of finance outputs.
  • Apply driver-based and predictive modeling techniques to improve forecasting accuracy across sales, pricing, and cost lines.
  • Identify and pilot use cases for artificial-intelligence-enabled anomaly detection, variance explanation, and narrative generation to accelerate month-end and forecast cycles.
  • Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure the underlying data infrastructure, including Enterprise Data Warehouse and Global Data Management, supports scalable, trustworthy analytics.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools, techniques, and best practices to keep the finance function’s analytics capability current and competitive.
Desired Qualifications
  • Exposure to inflation and tariff impact analysis.
  • Familiarity with OneStream, SAP S/4HANA, Enterprise Data Warehouse concepts, and Global Data Management.

Honeywell launches Forge Cognition AI "brain" for buildings with Nvidia and Dell, keeping humans in control

Honeywell Technologies has launched Forge Cognition, an AI platform built with Nvidia and Dell that places AI agents and digital twins on top of building systems for heating, cooling, security, and power. It can run in manual, semi-autonomous, or autonomous mode, but chief technology officer Suresh Venkatarayalu said the autonomous setting is not yet open. Humans will stay in the loop for probably the next two to three years, he said, after which customers decide when to switch. At Nvidia's Voyager headquarters, Honeywell says the system cut unnecessary alerts by up to 90%. It also identified close to 10% in potential energy savings, which have not yet been achieved. Honeywell is now working to turn Nvidia into a paying customer. It is also piloting the platform at sites in Dubai, Singapore, Bangalore, and Richardson, Texas.

Honeywell slides 5% as investor event guidance disappoints after aerospace spin-off

Honeywell shares tumbled roughly 5% to $231 on Tuesday, underperforming all major industrial peers following weak investor reception at its Chicago event. The decline stems partly from the poor debut quarter of spun-off Honeywell Aerospace, now trading as HONA, which prompted UBS to cut its price target. Honeywell's Q2 results showed reported revenue of $9.72 billion, down 6.1% year-over-year due to the aerospace separation. Whilst CEO Vimal Kapur raised full-year adjusted earnings guidance and positioned the company as a "leading pure-play automation company", the complex optics failed to convince investors. Meanwhile, peer 3M rose 1% after delivering a clean earnings beat with 8.2% organic growth in Safety & Industrial and raising its full-year guidance.

Cramer tips Honeywell Aerospace as overlooked winner after three-way split

Honeywell has completed its split into three separate public companies, with Honeywell Technologies retaining the HON ticker and Honeywell Aerospace beginning trading on 29 June. The advanced-materials operation became Solstice Advanced Materials in October 2025. CNBC's Jim Cramer views Honeywell Aerospace as an interesting long-term opportunity, comparing the breakup to General Electric's multi-year split. He suggests targeted companies can eventually achieve higher valuations than their parent conglomerates, though it may take several quarters for markets to recognise this value. Honeywell Technologies reported second-quarter sales of $5.2 billion, up 3% overall and 4% organically. Orders increased 16%, creating a backlog exceeding $20 billion. Building Automation revenues grew 9% on data centre and healthcare demand, whilst Industrial Automation sales rose 4%.
