  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, Engineering, Business, or equivalent
  • 7+ years of product management experience focused on software or digital platforms with very complex and configurable products
  • 3+ years of direct management experience
  • Experience managing or mentoring a team of product managers
  • Experience in modernizing digital products and enhancing user experiences
  • Strong technical acumen with a deep understanding of software development processes
  • Must be a strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
  • If not located in Michigan, this position will travel to Michigan 1x per quarter
Responsibilities
  • Manage and mentor a team of 5-6 Product Managers, building a high-performance culture centered on excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of market dynamics, including customer needs, technological trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Craft and communicate a compelling, long-term product vision that aligns with the company’s goals and inspires cross-functional alignment.
  • Oversee the prioritization, trade-offs, and sequencing of work across product areas, balancing competing priorities to maximize business impact.
  • Champion a customer-obsessed approach, creating products that deliver delightful, impactful user experiences rooted in customer needs, data, and feedback.
  • Translate high-level product vision and strategies into clear, actionable requirements that align cross-functional teams toward successful execution.
  • Set and uphold high-quality standards across all products, addressing blockers and ensuring consistency throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Lead successful product launches by orchestrating all go-to-market efforts, from strategic planning to seamless execution.
  • Develop and maintain robust systems for tracking product performance, leveraging data to make informed decisions and optimize for long-term success.
