Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical demonstrations and instruction on the use of company products in pre-sale, implementation, and post-sale situations through formal educational, small-group, and individual presentations in patient-care areas throughout healthcare facilities.
  • Provide formal presentations to physician and administration customers detailing the clinical and financial benefits of company devices as related to the group.
  • Evaluate new products or device enhancements and provide information and feedback to the Product Development and Marketing departments.
  • Work with customers to introduce, promote, and increase product usage throughout customer facilities.
  • Assist with the collection and dissemination of information and customer feedback.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and educational meetings and complete all necessary reports.
  • Provide product support and education to users in person, through in-service instruction, or through written or verbal communication.
  • Continuously increase knowledge of developments within the assigned market and company products to perform as a subject-matter expert.
  • Develop and disseminate information to internal executives and staff regarding customer acceptance of company technology and products during the pre-sale and evaluation process.

Stryker completes first hip surgery using FDA-authorized Apple Vision Pro app SportSuite Vision

Stryker has completed the first surgical procedure using its FDA-authorized SportSuite Vision application on Apple Vision Pro at Duke Health. The hip arthroscopy was performed by orthopaedic surgeon Dr Chad Mather III at the academic medical centre. SportSuite Vision received FDA De Novo authorization on 17 July, making it the first application approved for intraoperative use with Apple Vision Pro. The technology allows surgeons to view arthroscopic video, HipCheck, HipMap and CT imaging within their field of vision during procedures. The spatial computing application aims to reduce reliance on traditional monitors positioned throughout operating rooms. By bringing multiple data sources into the surgeon's field of view, it supports a more streamlined and ergonomic surgical workflow during complex arthroscopic procedures.

Stryker to acquire ZuriMED's rotator cuff augmentation technology for shoulder portfolio

Stryker has signed a definitive agreement to acquire ZuriMED, a privately held developer of the FiberLocker System for rotator cuff repair. The commercialised soft tissue augmentation technology is designed to provide increased biomechanical strength and reduce clinical failure in rotator cuff procedures. According to Stryker, the acquisition will strengthen its shoulder portfolio and expand support for shoulder specialists across sports medicine and arthroplasty. Rotator cuff augmentation is described as one of the fastest-growing areas in sports medicine and a significant opportunity in shoulder care. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions. Stryker and ZuriMED will operate as separate entities until closing is complete.

Stryker holds steady despite cyber disruption as robotics drive 9% organic growth
