Requirements
  • A master's degree in behavioral health or a related field.
  • Three years of experience providing infant or early childhood mental health services.
  • Two years of licensed clinical experience.
  • Clinical licensure, such as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
  • Advanced knowledge of best practices in early childhood education and preschool quality for children ages 0–5, including instructional and inclusion practices for children with delays, disabilities, and social-emotional or behavioral needs.
  • Advanced knowledge of Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education services and systems for children ages 0–5.
  • Advanced knowledge of early childhood education settings, systems, and structures, including early childhood intervention.
  • Ability to identify and address personal biases.
  • Knowledge and skill in advancing racial justice, understanding how systems of oppression intersect, and applying an equity lens in policy and programming.
  • Familiarity with infant and early childhood mental health best practices and evidence-based models of care, and skills in fidelity monitoring.
  • Skills in clinical supervision, recruiting, hiring, team development, and managing conflict.
  • Strong computer and technical skills, including comfort with Google applications.
  • Experience with program data collection and analysis, including use of electronic databases.
  • Ability to represent the Preschool and Early Learning Division and Preschool For All, communicate professionally, and exercise tact, discretion, and judgment in stressful or political situations.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, including strategic planning, partnership cultivation, critical-path timelines, task execution, performance monitoring, cross-functional communication, stakeholder engagement, resource allocation, and adherence to project scope, budget, and deliverables.
  • Lead planning, scoping, execution, and monitoring for student intern placements and clinical workflows; develop project plans, milestones, deliverables, and schedules.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision, mentorship, and clinical consultation to the team; lead performance management, conduct reflective supervision, ensure clinical-hour requirements are met, prioritize and assign intern work, review work, and support professional skill development.
  • Conduct on-site observations at Preschool For All preschool sites, provide targeted coaching and clinical guidance, set strategic goals, evaluate program operations, and recommend structural improvements and policy modifications.
  • Design and revise work processes, service-delivery strategies, and training frameworks; develop prevention and treatment strategies grounded in evidence-based practices.
  • Identify project and placement risks, implement contingency plans, and maintain project documentation.
  • Analyze federal, state, and local regulations for program compliance; prepare operational reports and data-driven analyses for leadership on project status and resource needs.
  • Represent the program on committees, interagency task forces, and community outreach initiatives; handle sensitive inquiries, investigate complaints, advise partners and the public, build consensus, and resolve operational challenges.
  • Provide strategic oversight for early childhood mental health service contracts and lead partner collaboration through governance and performance-alignment meetings.
  • Administer project budgets by tracking, analyzing, and forecasting expenses to ensure compliance with contract terms and resource allocation models.
  • Lead cross-functional program execution and service-delivery monitoring across community partners; audit service agreements to ensure fidelity and support data-driven quality improvement.
  • Evaluate service implementation against early childhood mental health and PBIS frameworks, including the Pyramid Model, The Incredible Years, and Circle of Security Parenting.
  • Synthesize operational data and key performance indicators to support annual contract optimization, operational efficiency, and program improvements.
  • Partner with the Preschool and Early Learning Inclusion Team and external stakeholders on strategic planning to optimize multi-tiered prevention workflows.
  • Analyze regulatory frameworks, benchmark industry best practices, and implement policy recommendations.
  • Gather multi-stakeholder feedback and refine referral-tracking systems to improve care coordination and consultation workflows for children, families, educators, and partners.
Desired Qualifications
  • Two years of supervisory experience in mental or behavioral health or early childhood settings.
  • Three years of experience providing infant and early childhood mental health consultation services.
  • Experience with electronic health records.
  • Experience with grant funding and reporting.
  • An Infant/Toddler Mental Health Certificate and/or Infant Mental Health Endorsement.
