About the job

Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, financial planning and analysis, investment banking, private equity, or a similarly demanding analytical environment.
  • A track record of building financial infrastructure and rigor in ambiguous, fast-moving environments without needing a detailed playbook.
  • Strong analytical instincts and the ability to build a financial model or business case from scratch using imperfect information.
  • The ability to synthesize complexity and present it clearly to founders, leadership, and investors.
  • High ownership and follow-through, ensuring financial figures are accurate and deadlines are met.
  • Strong relationship instincts and the ability to influence through clarity, trust, and execution.
  • Strong organizational systems and attention to detail across parallel workstreams and reporting cycles.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and answers may be unclear.
  • Curiosity about consumer brands, watches, marketplaces, paid growth, and the financial operations of a high-growth company.
  • Willingness to perform both strategic and routine work, including building models and completing reconciliations.
Responsibilities
  • Own company-wide financial planning and analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and scenario modeling across marketing, operations, and product spending.
  • Build and maintain financial infrastructure, including reporting, dashboards, and close processes, as the company scales.
  • Partner directly with leadership on unit economics, including customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, contribution margin, and payback period across acquisition channels.
  • Manage cash flow and runway planning, flagging risks early.
  • Manage the monthly and quarterly close process and ensure financial reporting is accurate and timely.
  • Connect finance with the rest of the company by surfacing tradeoffs, clarifying spending decisions, and maintaining financial discipline without slowing the business.
  • Support fundraising and investor-relations workstreams, including data rooms, board materials, and financial narrative.
  • Build lightweight reporting and financial dashboards to help the team understand performance, cash use, and areas needing attention.
  • Own or support vendor, banking, and financial-partner relationships, including negotiations, terms, and renewals.
  • Address urgent or high-priority financial questions when ownership is unclear and create a path to resolution.
  • Create documentation, models, and financial playbooks that make repeatable work easier as the company scales.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience at a high-growth startup or consumer company.
  • Experience with e-commerce, marketplaces, luxury goods, watches, collectibles, or consumer apps.
  • Familiarity with financial and operating tools such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, spreadsheets, business intelligence dashboards, or lightweight automation.
  • Experience supporting founders, executives, or a board directly.

About the company

Infinite Edge is a strategy-to-execution partner for small to mid-sized B2B service businesses. It embeds its operators with the client’s leadership to both design strategy and actively implement it, focusing on sustainable growth. The approach combines optimizing operations, refining go-to-market strategies, and modernizing internal systems. By working side-by-side with the client team, Infinite Edge uses tested frameworks and repeatable processes to bridge planning and execution, while upskilling staff to maintain momentum after the engagement ends. The leadership team includes operators with experience at companies like LinkedIn and VMware, highlighting a practical, hands-on capability rather than purely advisory help. The firm aims to turn growth pressure into performance by reducing capital burn, lowering customer acquisition costs, and boosting sales productivity, ultimately driving revenue growth without overburdening founders’ teams.
