Requires onsite presence in Mississauga, Ontario.
- Currently enrolled in a Millwright Apprenticeship College Program.
- 1-2 years experience reading and interpreting diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals and specifications.
- 1-2 years experience operating power tools (drill, impact drivers, reciprocating saw, drill press etc.)
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Work independently and be accountable for work performed.
- Ability to lift, up to 50lbs.
- Ability to perform 8 hours of standing, climbing, and crouching in an active manufacturing environment.
- Performing preventative maintenance on various machines including saws, CNC, press brakes etc.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic problems with equipment.
- Repair malfunctioning components such as motors, pumps, valves, controls
- Sourcing parts and supplies as needed to maintain and repair all machines and equipment.
- Working at heights and confined spaces as required.
- Other facility and equipment maintenance tasks as assigned.
