Maintenance Technician
About the job
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Have working knowledge of general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.
- Provide your own basic hand tools; specialty tools and equipment are supplied by Boyne Mountain.
- Be able to crouch, bend, stand, and/or sit in one position for prolonged periods.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Complete daily work orders and service calls, and maintain an accurate log of routine and preventative maintenance performed on resort structures.
- Perform pool care and maintenance, boiler room water chemical testing, and water softener care and maintenance.
- Conduct air conditioning and heat changeover.
- Complete guest room care and maintenance.
- Perform food service equipment repair and maintenance.
- Review and perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
- Assist in snow removal.
- Perform infrastructure maintenance, including water system inspection and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate time and material repair billing records.
- Use a motor vehicle to pick up supplies, parts, and other materials as necessary.
- Knowledge of inventory software and order processing systems is helpful.
