Requirements
  • Four to eight years of human resources experience.
  • Experience managing permanent employees and contract labour.
  • Understanding of manufacturing HR operations, labour law compliance, employee relations, industrial relations, contract labour management, payroll and attendance management, HR analytics, business partnering, stakeholder management, and communication and influencing skills.
Responsibilities
  • Manage employee and contingent worker onboarding, hiring, and separations.
  • Ensure the accuracy and maintenance of employee records in different HR systems.
  • Drive HR process compliance and adherence to company policies.
  • Generate and analyze HR metrics and dashboards.
  • Represent the increasing women’s network in the Nagar manufacturing plant.
  • Drive employee engagement activities for the location.
  • Act as the main contact point for liaising with HR service providers for both locations.
  • Work with external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities and organizations, to deliver harmony and value.
  • Raise bills and liaise with vendors for payments related to various HR activities and processes.
  • Manage internal and external audits, including ISO 9001, IATF, and customer audits.
  • Participate in global and regional HR initiatives and drive them to closure.
  • Manage the training and development needs of contingent workers and employees at the location.
  • Foster a positive employee relations climate across the plant.
  • Address grievances, disciplinary matters, and employee concerns.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and learning compliance.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in human resources, preferably in a manufacturing organization, with a good understanding of statutory regulations.
  • Exposure to HRMS or ERP platforms such as Workday, SAP HCM, Oracle HCM, or similar systems.
  • Good Microsoft Excel and HR reporting skills.
  • An academic background in Labour Law or Labour Relations.

PowdrIQ International Challenge for Students

PowdrIQ international challenge for students. Höganäs AB has launched PowdrIQ, an international challenge for university students to explore innovative applications for metal powders. Open to undergraduates, master's, and PhD students, the challenge invites participants to identify new uses for metal powders in three key areas: sustainability, performance and efficiency, and market needs. An internal committee will evaluate submissions based on innovation, feasibility, sustainability impact, and industry relevance. Winners will receive cash prizes of €5,000, €2,500, and €1,000, with the first-place winner also earning a study trip to a Höganäs site. The PowdrIQ University Challenge is open to students from around the world, aiming to inspire fresh ideas and drive positive change in various sectors.

Metasphere Technology, founded in 2009, atomizes metals to metal powder in a new and ground-breaking reactor, where plasma and centrifugal forces play vital roles.
