Responsibilities
Assist estimators in preparing construction project bids and budgets.
Support the estimating team with basic plan reading, quantity takeoffs, evaluating subcontractor and vendor quotes, evaluating historical production and cost data, project budget and cost tracking, attending prebid and owner meetings, project site visits, and attending project bid reviews.
Assist with construction estimates and budgets for heavy civil and highway construction projects.
Desired Qualifications
Knowledge of general construction practices.
Comfort using Microsoft Excel.

Work Environment
Employee will be assisting with construction estimates and budgets for heavy civil and highway construction projects. This position is typically sitting at our main office in Jacksonville, FL.
