Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field is required.
  • At least 5 years of combined clinical work, healthcare account management, business development, or sales experience is required.
  • Expertise in Long-Term Services and Supports, Home- and Community-Based Services, and Medicaid programs, including Managed Medicaid, Long-Term Services and Supports, and Medicaid Fee-for-Service programs, is required.
  • A proven track record of setting and tracking milestones, following up, maintaining consistent documentation, and communicating professionally and promptly with stakeholders is required.
  • The ability to engage professionally with partners and develop trusting, mutually respectful, and mutually beneficial relationships with key accounts and internal teams is required.
  • Demonstrated success identifying the root of issues, clarifying them, and helping create new processes with internal and external teams to improve member and partner experiences is required.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills are required.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, are required.
  • Experience with a customer relationship management system, Salesforce, or similar organizational sales software is required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time for regional and national day and overnight trips is required.
  • The ability to assemble and disassemble table or booth displays for conferences is required.
Responsibilities
  • Build and foster relationships with strategic healthcare accounts that may have regional or national presence and multiple lines of business.
  • Lead a team of regional field-based Managers of Healthcare Partnerships.
  • Oversee and implement Medicaid and Long-Term Care field sales systems to maximize territory outcomes, field engagements, growth, service continuity, and business development.
  • Onboard and implement new health plan accounts with the Implementation Manager and broader team, establish relationships, develop training materials, and train account team members on services.
  • Evaluate territory performance and monitor productivity, metrics, workload, and outputs while ensuring compliance with policies and processes and addressing issues through corrective action.
  • Identify opportunities to create internal and external account value stories using clinical data analyses, readmission, utilization, and cost-savings analyses, quality improvement, and case studies.
  • Understand healthcare partners' strategies related to quality, social determinants of health, and market differentiation, and position the company as a strategic partner supporting organizational goals.
  • Represent the company at national and regional conferences, assemble display tables or booths, engage attendees about services, and follow up with or route leads to appropriate sales colleagues.
  • Travel regionally and nationally to call on accounts and attend conferences.
  • Oversee field rides and virtual assessments of customer-facing presentations, including in-services, customer leadership meetings, and continuing education programs.
  • Mentor, coach, develop, train, and support the field sales team to drive productivity and results.
  • Partner with senior leadership to refresh customer service messaging and ensure consistent language across marketing collateral, slide decks, in-services, and continuing education.
  • Oversee field team customer relationship management training and compliance so activities and customer information are recorded timely and consistently for reporting.
  • Develop and manage performance scorecard achievement for the field team.
  • Cover open territories as needed.
  • Develop and deliver quarterly account plans in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Analytics, Information Technology, and other leadership functions.
  • Maintain continual communication and alignment with leadership to meet account and business needs.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous work with Medicaid and Medicare Advantage Managed Care plans is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid benefit programs is preferred.
  • A clinical background as a nurse or registered dietitian is preferred.
  • Experience with pilot program development, execution, and quality measures such as HEDIS and Stars is preferred.
