Requirements
  • An active Medical Assistant-Certified license or Licensed Practical Nurse license in Washington State is required.
  • A minimum of two years of ambulatory care experience is required.
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification is required, or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate medical assistants and clinical support staff.
  • Ensure clinical quality measures, infection control, and regulatory standards are met.
  • Support patient flow and provider productivity of 18–21 patients per provider per day.
  • Manage staffing schedules, huddles, referrals, phone messages, and patient grievances.
  • Assist with clinical care, procedures, injections, and patient assessments as needed.
  • Monitor performance metrics, conduct audits, and support quality improvement efforts.
  • Promote excellent customer service using the AIDET model.
  • Work closely with the Nurse Manager to oversee daily clinic operations, patient flow, clinical quality measures, staff performance, and customer service standards.
  • Travel occasionally to other clinic locations as needed.
