Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in business, technology, operations management or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of inventory management related experience
  • Working knowledge of US Customs regulations and Trade Compliance
Responsibilities
  • Manage the maintenance of control system for inventoried items
  • Develop planning and control methods/procedures for all stocking locations
  • Train staff and audit to insure compliance
  • Coordinate inventory control activities with other company functions
  • Manage distribution operations for Bridgeport location
  • Oversee, schedule and supervisor regular physical inventory counts
  • Develop and manage the Logistics Department performance standards
  • Directly supervise all shipping and receiving personnel
  • Confirm daily transition of first shift operations to second shift operations
  • Maintain department and company database
  • Review and approve order requests for department supplies
  • Ensure employees are knowledgeable of systems and procedures
  • Responsible for coming in early, staying late and working non-standard work days/hours
