Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of practical experience in industrial engineering roles, including experience with automation preferred.
  • Experience with project management.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (CAD) in 2D applications.
  • Familiarity with distribution centers and warehouses.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for internal and external collaboration and reporting.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changes in project scope or requirements.
  • Proficiency in Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
  • Available for up to 25% travel to other ThredUP distribution centers.
Responsibilities
  • Participate in the operational planning and implementation of multiple projects from deployment to closure.
  • Assist in identifying areas of improvement in production processes and help develop strategies to enhance efficiency.
  • Contribute to the analysis of current production workflows and assist in recommending changes to improve productivity.
  • Collect and analyze production data under the guidance of senior engineers, using basic statistical methods.
  • Assist in the design and optimization of DC layouts and process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
