Requirements
  • United States citizenship is required.
  • An active TS/SCI clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph is required.
  • Six years of experience in configuration management and version control on programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity are required.
  • A bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university is required, unless four additional years of configuration-management experience are substituted.
Responsibilities
  • Manage configuration management for developmental and operational systems.
  • Work with developmental and operational teams to create and maintain configuration baselines for development, test, production, and other system environments.
  • Use or recommend automated configuration-management tools to implement configuration-management policies and procedures.
  • Develop or modify configuration-management plans, policies, and procedures tailored to the complexity and scope of developmental or operational systems.
  • Implement configuration-management discipline across the entire system life cycle, from initial requirements and capabilities baselines through system end-of-life.
  • Perform change control and configuration audits.
  • Assist in implementing hardware and software version-control processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Use configuration-management tools such as MadForge and Eclipse to store, track, and manage configuration items.
  • Document hardware and software configuration-management processes and procedures.
  • Support the maintenance and development of environments for hardware and software product build, staging, testing, and integration.
  • Define and implement hardware and software configuration-management processes and procedures, including creating product build scripts and integrating those scripts into the build process.
  • Maintain the configuration-management environment for product build, staging, testing, and integration activities.
  • Develop and enforce hardware and software version-control processes, policies, and procedures across development projects.
  • Apply configuration-management principles to define and implement processes, including creating and integrating product build scripts within hardware and software build environments.
  • Serve as an advisor to, or non-voting member of, the Government Change Control Board.
