Requirements

Fluency in English and Cantonese.
At least 90% English proficiency.
A steady wired internet connection.
A USB wired headset.
A Windows 10 or Mac computer.
Strong listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain accuracy.
Ability to render concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocols without omissions or additions.
Ability to explain cultural concepts, with permission or at the client's request.
A background check or language testing may be required based on location.

Responsibilities

Answer calls professionally while following the interpreter's code of conduct.
Be aware of industry-specific vocabulary, particularly in healthcare and medical settings.
Complete internal professional training.
Communicate and report to the team leader.
