Requirements
  • Minimum of an Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) with advanced training in mental health treatment, or an independently licensed social worker or clinical professional counselor.
  • Experience operating basic office equipment and a desktop computer, with the physical ability to walk, bend, stand, and lift.
Responsibilities
  • Provide a full range of direct treatment services consistent with the 12 Core Functions of addiction treatment and through a harm-reduction approach.
  • Manage and coordinate client intakes, discharges, caseloads, and treatment planning in assistance to the program director.
  • Assist with onboarding new staff and supporting ongoing staff development.
  • Provide mental health consultation and support to both programs, including risk assessments, screenings, and evaluations as requested.
  • Provide treatment groups using evidence-based practices.
  • Complete and maintain necessary records and reports accurately and confidentially.
  • Provide transportation and accompany patients to community providers as needed.
  • Make referrals to other agencies to address clients' vocational, educational, social, physical health, and mental health needs.
  • Work within the interdisciplinary team and provide services consistent with applicable codes of ethics and industry standards.
  • Provide compassionate and clinically appropriate care for clients.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Independent licensure in mental health, such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), and substance use treatment, such as Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) or Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS).
  • Experience in residential treatment management.
